MOLLY FAGUNDES-JOHNSTON

A Central Valley Native, Molly Fagundes-Johnston was raised in a tight-knit family on their local almond ranch. There, she grew in appreciation for the impact farming has on our local economy while her parents instilled the Valley Values that make our community special.

Molly’s interest in Agriculture continued with her involvement in 4-H, which inevitably led to her serving as California Future Farmers in America State Vice President from 2001-2002. Molly was also the State Future Farmers in America Prepared Public Speaking winner in her junior year of high school.

Awarded the Smittcamp Family Honors college scholarship, Molly would attend Fresno State, majoring in Agriculture Education with an emphasis on Communications. A proud Bulldog, she served as Associated Students Incorporated President and Smittcamp Family Honors College President. Molly was awarded the Student Affairs Dean’s Medalist for serving the student body. Read More
